Job Description

The Slot Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational excellence of the Slot Department. This role requires comprehensive management of departmental performance, personnel, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Slot Operations to ensure adherence to established company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the full employment lifecycle for Slot Department personnel, including recruitment, scheduling, training, performance evaluation, professional development, and separation when necessary.
  • Address and resolve customer disputes and concerns within the Slot Department in a professional and timely manner.
  • Recommend and implement Internal Control enhancements to optimize Slot Operations efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitive industry practices and market trends within the Slot sector.
  • Employ strong interpersonal and leadership skills to recruit, develop, and inspire high-performing staff.
  • Evaluate customer credit applications and participate in approval decisions in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Slots on departmental budget preparation and assume directorial responsibilities during periods of absence.
  • Conduct comprehensive performance analyses, operational assessments, and related evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven customer service excellence and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary gaming licenses and certifications as required by regulatory authorities
  • Capacity to work effectively in both office and casino floor environments, including exposure to noise, ambient smoke, and variable lighting conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the gaming industry with demonstrated expertise in slot operations
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive management or supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of recruiting, developing, and motivating high-performing teams
