POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. Employee must repair, maintain and monitor the operations of electronic gaming devices (slot machines) on the gaming floor. Employee will participate in the move of any slot related equipment.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides exceptional guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow team members.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining positive guest relations and ensure the safety and security of all guests.
  • Respond to all calls involving slot machines and/or the maintenance of them.
  • Responsible for repairing and maintaining all slot-related equipment on the casino floor and tech shop.
  • Participate in the installation, movement and removal of slot-related equipment.
  • Accurately maintain proper documentation and gaming logs in order to comply with the State and internal regulations.
  • Handles guest relations and minor guest disputes.
  • Creating a clean, safe, friendly and fun atmosphere for all guests and employees.
  • Completing all company-required training within designated time frames.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to:
  • Use of hand tools, volt/OHM meter, peripheral testing equipment, personal protection equipment and game simulators.
  • Hand-held radios/headsets.
  • Ability to write technical statements.
  • Ability to read simple instructions and schematics
  • Ability to do some troubleshooting and work on computers
  • Ability to complete slot-related paperwork with minimal errors
  • Knowledge of Gaming laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to accurately perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and an interruptive environment
  • Must possess the ability to move effectively and efficiently throughout the slot floor - walking/standing 95% which includes bending/lifting 15% (lifting up to 190 lbs. with assistance of another employee), sitting 5%.
  • Exposed to electricity and an environment of varying temperatures
  • Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoked filled casino environment with elevated noise levels.
  • Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends, and holidays, sometimes with varying shifts.
  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years Electronics degree or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude at all times.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a valid Missouri Gaming license.
  • Complete company-required training modules within 90 days.
