Job description

EGM Automotive is a high-volume, family-owned repair shop in Elk Grove Village, IL servicing approximately 350–400 vehicles per month.

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician – General Repair who is confident performing routine mechanical repairs and maintenance in a structured, fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for a B-level technician or solid general repair tech who wants consistent workflow and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $52,000 – $95,000 per year (Flat Rate)


Responsibilities

  • General automotive repair and maintenance
  • Brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain work
  • Routine diagnostics and inspections
  • Follow established repair processes and shop workflow
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors and technicians
  • Maintain quality and efficiency standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years automotive repair experience preferred
  • B-level technician or strong general repair background
  • Solid mechanical and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work in a structured production environment
  • Reliable, team-oriented work style
  • Valid driver’s license
