Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a part-time overnight position. This role will perform diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, provide patient care, and support clinical research activities in a modern sleep laboratory.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic PSG and PAP titration studies.
  • Perform pediatric PSG, MSLT, and MWT studies according to AASM standards.
  • Monitor and score studies using Compumedics Profusion.
  • Provide PAP education and overnight patient care.
  • Complete clinical and research documentation.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in quality assurance and research activities.

Qualifications

  • Current BRPT RPSGT certification in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years of independent PSG experience.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Compumedics Profusion experience preferred; cross-training available.
  • Strong patient-care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently overnight and lift approximately 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric PSG experience.
  • Sleep research/clinical-trial experience.
  • GCP/IATA training.
  • Mentoring experience.
