Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a local contract Polysomnographer for a local contract job in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Title: Registered Sleep Technologist

Location: Not specified

Job Summary: Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations. Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs). Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines (sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, etc.). Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation. Maintain compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT).
  • BCLS Certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
  • Strong knowledge of HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoring.
  • Able to score Sleep Reliability by HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with some scientific coursework.
