Get to Know Your Team: 

  • UT Health Carthage located in Panola County, boasts 23 private patient rooms. The hospital also features a 24-hour emergency department, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility with advanced diagnostic technology, a cardiac rehabilitation program, GI lab, outpatient clinics and a sleep lab.

Responsibilities
  • The Clinical Exercise Specialist, RN is a valuable member of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Team.
  • The CES provides inpatient and outpatient care to patients with Cardiovascular and /or pulmonary disease.
  • The CES will assess, plan, treat, and perform diagnostic testing on patients with cardiovascular/respiratory dysfunctions.
  • Patients’ development and implementation are the primary function of the CES consisting of patient education, rehabilitation, wellness program, health enhancement and Quality improvement.   

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved RN school
  • Current professional licensure in the State of Texas for RN 
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • ACLS certifications 

Preferred Job Requirements:

 
 
  • ACSM certification
