Riverside Technologies is currently seeking Field Sales Representatives to focus on selling new business to and developing positive customer relationships with State, Local, and Education (SLED) organizations. The ideal candidate would be a results-driven individual who can actively seek out and engage customer prospects.

Job Summary:

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be presenting, promoting, and selling products and services while maintaining and developing customer relationships. In this role, you will seek out new opportunities as well as expand and enhance existing opportunities to build and manage the pipeline in a specialty area.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Presenting, promoting, and selling products and services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Maintaining and developing positive business and customer relationships
  • Performing cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Providing complete, appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability
  • Reaching out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Working closely with Inside Sales Rep daily
  • Working directly with a variety of customers, from large corporations to small businesses, in a face-to-face environment
  • Attending trade shows and planned marketing events
  • Maintaining a punctual and accurate pipeline of customers to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Communicating a consistent message while utilizing approved marketing materials
  • Creating and delivering sales presentations tailored to audience needs
  • Developing relationships with key partners for growth of our products within their markets
  • Coordinating sales activities with other field sales reps and managers
  • Establishing a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry
  • Contributing to proposal development, negotiations, and deal closings
  • Developing close plans for targeted opportunities and driving opportunities to closure
  • Interfacing with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solutions development
  • Performing other related duties as assigned


Requirements:

What You’ll Need

  • 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in tech related sales
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent sales experience
  • Position requires significant amount of traveling
  • Previous technology selling experience is a plus
  • The ability to understand cost, pricing, and margins
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • A professional appearance
  • Self-starter skills and the ability to drive results with limited direction and supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people of all levels
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
