Studio Leader

The Studio Leader (SL) plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional studio experience by driving sales performance, operational excellence, community building, partnership development, member satisfaction, and team development. This leadership position supports the Studio Manager and Studio Leadership Team in overseeing daily operations, coaching team members, building strong relationships within the local community, and driving membership growth.
The ideal Studio Leader is a membership sales driver, community builder and partnership builder—someone who naturally creates meaningful connections, develops strategic local partnerships, actively generates new business opportunities, and inspires both the team and the community to engage with the studio. This individual should be highly motivated by results while maintaining a genuine passion for wellness, hospitality, relationship building, and creating an exceptional member experience. This person must be able to excel independently and as a team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure the consistent delivery of a premium member experience through exceptional service, hospitality, and operational execution.
  • Maintain full compliance with all company policies, operational procedures, safety standards, and wellness protocols.
  • Maintain and enforce the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the studio.
  • Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring all sauna suites, red light therapy equipment, amenities, and common areas are consistently clean, properly maintained, fully functional, and presented to company standards.
  • Ensure team members consistently complete assigned cleaning and studio maintenance responsibilities and hold the team accountable when standards are not met.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, memberships, retention, utilization, and overall studio performance.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, and accountability while supporting a positive, results-driven studio culture.
  • Maintain a highly organized and detail-oriented approach to operations, ensuring priorities are managed effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership & Team Development

  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of all Guest Experience Representatives and Studio Support team members.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, accountability, and growth opportunities for team members.
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding service, professionalism, community engagement, and sales performance.
  • Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about services, memberships, products, and wellness benefits.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Address employee concerns and performance matters professionally and in accordance with company policies.
Sales Management, Business Development & Community Building

  • Drive studio revenue and membership growth through proactive sales, relationship building, community engagement, memberships, wellness packages, retail sales, upgrades, and promotional offerings.
  • Collaborate with studio leadership to develop and execute strategies that achieve or exceed sales goals.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and provide coaching to improve results.
  • Execute lead generation, prospect follow-up, and member conversion strategies through phone, text, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Actively build and nurture the studio’s local community by creating meaningful relationships with members, prospective members, local businesses, and strategic partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, healthcare providers, fitness facilities, apartment communities, hotels, and other strategic partners to increase brand awareness, generate referrals, and support membership growth.
  • Proactively identify, establish, and grow strategic partnerships that introduce the studio to new audiences and create ongoing opportunities for referrals, lead generation, and business growth.
  • Coordinate and participate in community events, health fairs, wellness expos, networking events, corporate wellness programs, and studio-hosted activations that strengthen the studio’s presence within the community.
  • Support and lead off-site marketing initiatives, partnership activations, vendor events, pop-ups, and grassroots outreach efforts designed to attract new clients and increase community engagement.
  • Represent the studio as a community ambassador by actively networking, attending local events, developing relationships, and creating opportunities for the studio to become a recognized and trusted wellness resource within the community.
  • Turn community relationships and partnerships into measurable business opportunities, including new leads, referrals, first visits, memberships, and long-term member relationships.
  • Maintain a strong personal sales performance and serve as a role model for the team through consistent execution and accountability.
  • Create a culture where sales, partnerships, and community building work together to drive sustainable studio growth.
Member Experience

  • Deliver and uphold a high-touch member experience throughout every stage of the customer journey.
  • Build meaningful relationships with members to increase engagement, retention, referrals, and overall satisfaction.
  • Resolve member concerns promptly, professionally, and effectively.
  • Ensure all new members receive a seamless onboarding experience and understand how to maximize the benefits of infrared sauna therapy and wellness services.
  • Consistently champion the company’s experience and brand standards in every interaction.
  • Promote member retention through proactive engagement, relationship building, and exceptional service.
Organizational Relationships

The Studio Leader reports directly to the Studio Manager and/or Studio Leadership Team. This position works closely with leadership on sales, staffing, member experience, marketing initiatives, partnerships, and operational goals while providing day-to-day leadership and accountability for Guest Experience Representatives and Studio Support personnel.

Minimum Educational Level / Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Minimum Work Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of leadership experience in wellness, fitness, hospitality, retail, membership-based businesses, or boutique studio environments.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing teams of 5–10 or more employees.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, customer service, relationship building, and operational management.
  • Demonstrated success in generating leads, developing partnerships, building community relationships, or driving local business growth.
  • Experience generating leads through community outreach, partnerships, networking, or local marketing initiatives preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems, scheduling platforms, and membership management software preferred.
Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions

  • Ability to move throughout the studio and assist with operational needs as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to attend off-site events, networking functions, community activations, and partnership meetings as needed.
