Lead Glazier – Drive High-Quality Commercial Glass and Curtain Wall Installations


Job Overview

  • Company: Skyline Glass, Inc.
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $32 to $40 per hour plus Performance Based Bonus.
  • Location: Sheridan, CO (Travel Required across Denver Metro Area)
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
  • Project Scope: Commercial Glazing / Field Operations.
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR.


The Opportunity You will serve as a vital field leader, spearheading the installation of storefronts, curtain walls, and aluminum doors for premier commercial projects. This role empowers you to mentor apprentices and manage crews while thriving in a family-oriented environment that rewards high performance through unique bonuses. You will have the autonomy to run your site while receiving the full support of a leadership team that values your technical expertise.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Supervise field crews of 1 to 5 glaziers to ensure all installations meet rigorous quality and safety standards.
  • Execute the installation of storefront systems, curtain walls, and aluminum doors with technical precision and efficiency.
  • Train and mentor apprentices in glazing techniques to build a highly skilled and capable field team.
  • Document site progress and daily activities using Procore, written Progress Reports, and photographic evidence to maintain project transparency.
  • Communicate with General Contractors and Project Managers with professional authority to resolve site issues and provide updates.
  • Perform accurate field measurements and site assessments to ensure materials are installed correctly the first time.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Leadman or Journeyman Glazier.
  • Proven experience in commercial storefront, curtain wall, and aluminum door installation and hardware adjustment and installation.
  • Possession of all personal tools necessary for professional glazing work.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds independently and work on ladders.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Procore for daily reporting and site documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage on-site conflict with an even-headed and personable approach.
  • Strong track record of completing projects safely and within designated timelines.
