The position is based onsite at our surgical center in Yonkers, New York, where you will collaborate daily with a well-trained support staff that includes nurses, administrative personnel, and fellow healthcare providers. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with business hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Your role will be integral in collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

As a Dermatology Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of patient care tasks including:

• Conducting comprehensive skin examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Charting all clinical transactions following established policies and procedures, including writing orders and documenting progress notes.
• Administering various dermatological treatments and procedures such as injections, mole removal, and suturing as needed.
• Engaging with patients and their families to provide education and counseling on treatment plans and self-care practices.
• Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all company policies regarding ethical, legal, and professional expectations.
• Collaborating with the Medical Director to communicate staff suggestions and address any operational concerns.
• Managing an immediate full-time patient caseload while also exploring opportunities for growth and expanding service offerings.

Our practice covers a diverse population in Yonkers and surrounding areas, including individuals seeking treatment for common skin concerns, chronic dermatological conditions, and cosmetic dermatology. You will engage with patients of all ages, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and circumstances, thereby enhancing their confidence and quality of life.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• A current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Proven communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, are essential for patient interaction.
• The ability to work independently while possessing the necessary decision-making skills for clinical situations.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic medical records systems are necessary for efficient charting and documentation.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of clinical experience as a practicing Physician Assistant in a dermatological or related setting, where they have honed their skills in evaluating and managing dermatological conditions. Experience with surgical procedures and patient education will be advantageous in this role.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
