Work Environment

The work setting at Skin Elixir Clinic is dynamic, with a focus on efficiency and patient satisfaction. As a member of our surgical center, you will benefit from our full support staff, which includes medical assistants and administrative personnel who streamline patient interactions, allowing you to concentrate on medical responsibilities. The regular schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and document clinical findings thoroughly in compliance with company policies.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, including blood tests, to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Perform various medical and surgical procedures, including injection therapies, mole removals, and laceration repairs, adhering to best practices.
• Engage in patient education and counseling regarding treatment options and self-care practices, enhancing the patient experience.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the Medical Director about patient care suggestions and teamwork dynamics.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to patient needs and clinic demands efficiently.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care while contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Skin Elixir Clinic, we cater to a diverse patient population with varying dermatological needs. Our clients range from pediatric to geriatric patients, seeking treatment for conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and cosmetic dermatology services. Your role as a PA will directly impact their treatment trajectories and overall satisfaction with their care experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.
• Current CPR certification is required to ensure patient safety.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other computer-based tools for efficient communication and documentation.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Willingness to adhere to all clinical protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Experience

While two years of relevant experience as a practicing Physician Assistant in dermatology is preferred, candidates with strong clinical skills and a passion for dermatological health will also be considered. Experience with cosmetic procedures and familiarity with dermatological equipment will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $125,000, reflecting your skills and experience. In addition to a robust salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
