Description

SAIC is seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to support the integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ground‐based communications and C4I systems for the U.S. Navy. This role is hands‐on, customer‐facing, and essential to ensuring reliable communications for mission operations. You will work both independently and as part of a field support team, supporting equipment installation, system checks, and on‐site technical assistance.

Job Duties:

  • Assemble, install, integrate, and maintain a variety of ground‐based communications and C4I systems.
  • Perform operational checks and ensure systems meet performance and serviceability standards.
  • Work with Single‐Channel radios, Vehicle Intercom Systems (VIS), Degraded Visual Environment systems, Blue Force Tracker systems, and other tactical communications hardware.
  • Support SATCOM, SINCGARS, MUOS, HF, and related communication systems.
  • Provide on‐site technical support for scheduled and unscheduled service calls.
  • Diagnose issues, complete repairs, and document solutions.
  • Coordinate with SAIC supervisors and customer stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma with formal electronics training from a Technical School or military Class A/B electronics or communications program
  • Experience working with military communication systems, to include at least some of the following:
  • SINCGARS
  • SATCOM / MUOS / Integrated Waveform
  • HF radios
  • Blue Force Tracker / JBC‐P / MFoCS
  • Vehicle Intercom Systems (VIS)
  • JCREW I1B1
  • DVE systems
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance (Public Trust required upon hire)

Required Security clearance:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous field service or C4I systems experience
  • Experience supporting tactical communications in military environments
