Who we are:
Hoboken Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our long-standing, compassionate team in the heart of Hoboken, NJ. We are proud to be the oldest veterinary hospital in Hoboken, serving our community and their pets with empathy, quality medicine, and heart for decades.
Located on Hoboken's main street, our hospital occupies a unique three-story building:
  • Main floor: lobby, exam rooms, treatment/prep area, and surgical suite
  • Basement: grooming, boarding, X-ray, laundry, and lab equipment
  • Second floor: office space and staff lounge
Recent updates include new flooring on the main floor and an updated surgical suite, with continued investment in equipment and patient care. Our doctors also have access to a new anesthesia machine, new ultrasound, laser therapy, digital x-ray, tonopen & cryo unit with a dental x-ray unit coming soon.
Our caseload is 98% small animal, 2% exotics, with doctors typically seeing 12-18 patients per day. Appointment times range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, allowing time for thorough, thoughtful medicine.
We strongly value work-life balance, family time, and taking care of each other. We're a food-loving crew with generous clients who regularly spoil us with treats
Schedule:
  • 4 ten-hour days
  • Every third Saturday, with two days off during that week
  • No on-call or after-hours requirements
