Job Summary

   

Mt. Sinai Hospital is a fast-paced Level 1 Adult teaching hospital serving the needs of Chicago's Westside neighborhoods. Mt. Sinai is located at the corner of Ogden and California near 2 major expressways.  We offer opportunities for nurses to expand their knowledge and careers.
Unit Description:
We are seeking nurses to join our In-House Registry Nursing Staff who have 2 2 years of medical /Surgical and telemetry hospital experience. The nurse will provide direct patient care in one of the 4 different Teles or Med/Surg units. Ventilator experience is a plus though not required. The nursing units' patient capacity ranges from 28 44 patients. Registry staff provides a self-schedule, requirements of 6 (12 or 8-hour shifts), plus 3 weekend shifts over a six-week period. The nurse will perform confidential professional nursing care of patients in the inpatient setting. Provide patient care services, including but not limited to, completion of admission/ discharge assessments, shift assessments, education, medication administration and monitoring of patients.  The nurse will collaborate with other disciplines to provide high quality and timely patient care. Services are provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
