About the role:

Join Sinai Hospital's Emergency Room (ER7) where you will ensure quality service to all customers reflecting the mission, vision, and SPIRIT values of Sinai Hospital and the Department of Patient Care Services. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will assume oversight and responsibility for the Emergency Room at Sinai Hospital. The newly renovated Emergency Department is designed for speed, safety, and enhanced patient flow. The Emergency Division includes seven distinct patient care centers to include:

Urgent Care Center

Chest Pain Evaluation Center

Emergent Care Center

Level II Trauma Center

Pediatric Emergency Center

Rapid Evaluation Unit (REU)

Observation Center

Responsibilities:

· Provide unit-level supervision, direction, and coordination of operations to ensure achievement of department-specific goals and objectives.

· Establish standards and expectations for all assigned personnel with the area of responsibility. Work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager to build positive, productive working relationships with the staff ensuring all are engaged and committed.

· Collaborate with nursing and other organizational leaders on initiatives to achieve and sustain high scoring patient-completed survey results reflective of excellent patient experience.

    Credentials:

    • Registered Nurse License
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required
    • 1-3 years of Emergency Room experience required
    • 1 year of formal nursing leadership experience preferred
    • American Heart Association BLS Certification required
    • PALS & ACLS within 6 months of hire
    • Must be a member of a Professional Organization

    Experience:

    • 1-3 years

    Pay Range: $43.33 to $67.16 Based On Experience
