Job description

Hello machinists! Are you tired of working in hot, dark, dirty shops on out-dated machines?
Sim Surgical is seeking CNC Machinists in our Mills and Lathes Departments for 1st shift, 2nd shift, and Weekend Shift.
Available Shifts:
1st: Monday-Thursday - 5 am-3:30 pm (4 x 10-hour DAY shifts)
Clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center in a climate-controlled facility! Health, Dental, and Vision available from day one!
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC Haas Mills to finish parts or prepare for next operation.
  • Work from blueprints, part prints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Use precision tools and instruments.
  • Capable of working to tight tolerances.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Prefer 1-3 years' experience with Set-up and operation of CNC Machines, but will train.
  • Possess strong math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including decimals and fractions. Simple reference use of formulas, charts, shop prints, specifications and computer scanning devices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
  • Experience with Haas, Okuma, or Tsugami Swiss machines would be beneficial but not required.
