Job description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To understand and manage all aspects of the picking room.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Adjustment of pickers to insure ready to eat standards is met. Adjustment of scalders to insure proper temperatures. Follow all GMP's for Plant.

Physical Activities: Be able to efficiently work in a plant environment, standing, walking and working in a hot environment for 8 hours.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Will use waterproof footwear, hearing protection, hair net(s) and any other protective equipment as needed or required.

Travel: N/A

Technical Experience: Preferred experience working around machinery.

Industry Experience: Working knowledge of a processing facility.

Minimum Education: May be required to have basic math skills and knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.

Preferred Education: High School Diploma or equivalency
