The Overview

The Zoo Ninja is officially expanding the habitat! Following the success of our Wild Ninja events, we are launching a brand-new, open-air concept gym right here at the zoo.

We aren't starting from scratchwe have a hungry 'pride' of hundreds of past participants and local families eagerly waiting for our doors to open. We are looking for a high-energy, full-time Manager to lead the charge, oversee day-to-day operations, and transform this innovative concept into a community staple.

The Mission

As the Gym Manager of Zoo Ninja Gym, you are the leader of the pack. You won't just be sitting behind a desk; you'll be ensuring our 'habitat' runs smoothly, our coaches are motivated, and our membersfrom bushbabies to silverback athleteshave a safe, exhilarating experience. You are responsible for the operational heartbeat of the gym, driving sales, and maintaining a culture that is as fierce as it is fun.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Design & Evolution (The 'Blueprint')

      • Program Development: Create and refine structured ninja 'tiers' or levels (e.g., Cubs, Scouts, Predators) that allow kids to track their progress and achieve milestones.
      • Weekly Lesson Planning: Design creative weekly 'missions' or obstacle circuits that keep the workout fresh, challenging, and aligned with the zoo ninja theme.
      • Skill Progression: Ensure the curriculum balances pure fun with functional movementimproving balance, grip strength, and agility in a way that feels like play.

      2. Jungle Operations & Safety

      • Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring all ninja obstacles and equipment are safe and clean.
      • Manage staff scheduling to ensure the floor is always covered by high-energy coaches.
      • Conduct regular safety inspections of rigs, mats, and equipment.

      3. Leading the Pride (Team Management)

      • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of coaches and front-desk staff.
      • Foster a high-performance culture focused on member engagement and 'wow' moments.
      • Lead weekly staff meetings to sharpen coaching techniques and safety protocols.

      4. Growth & Territory Expansion (Sales & Marketing)

      • Drive membership growth through events, community outreach, and local partnerships.
      • Manage the 'Birthday Party & Events' pipelinethis is a primary revenue stream for ninja gyms!
      • Oversee social media content that showcases our athletes conquering the course.

      5. Member Experience

      • Ambassadorship: Be the face of the gym, greeting families and resolving 'clashes in the wild' (customer service) with grace and professionalism.
      • Community Engagement: Organize seasonal competitions and themed community events.
        What We're Looking For
        • Experience: 2+ years in gym management, hospitality, or youth sports recreation. Ninja Warrior or Parkour experience is a 'beast' of a plus!
        • The Passion: A genuine love for youth development and a desire to watch kids gain confidence through movement.
        • The Vibe: High energy, outgoing, and unfazed by a loud, fast-paced, 'open-air' environment.
        • The Skills: Elite organizational skills and the ability to multitask like a many-armed primate.
