Silver Lining Therapies is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist, specifically an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, to join our remote team based in Rochester, New York. The position is entirely remote, enabling our therapists to work from the comfort of their homes while providing crucial mental health services. Our team operates under a community health clinic model, promoting a collaborative and integrative approach in delivering care. While our regular hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient schedules, particularly for those needing evening or weekend sessions.

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to personalize treatment plans, addressing each patient's unique experiences and backgrounds.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to meet the specific needs of individual clients, ensuring cultural considerations are a critical part of each treatment approach.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to explore various mental health concerns while fostering resilience and overall wellness among clients.
• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Provide urgent crisis intervention and support for clients facing mental health emergencies, utilizing strong crisis management skills.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to ensure they have access to essential support.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in line with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible.
• Actively participate in regular case conferences and team meetings to discuss treatment progress and ongoing outcomes.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, including cultural competency training, to remain informed about the latest best practices and research in mental health therapy.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• Strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practices.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy that embraces inclusive techniques and practices.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure and provide effective support during urgent situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering the capability to build rapport and trust with diverse patient populations.
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology for documentation and session tracking.
• A strong commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical responsibilities, and client confidentiality in all interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to collective care goals.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience working in mental health counseling or therapy.
• Experience in community health settings or clinics that focus on serving diverse populations.
• Proven track record in crisis management and intervention within a clinical setting.
