Position Overview

Silver Lining Therapies is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is remote, providing a supportive environment that prioritizes both patient care and your professional development. The ideal candidate will hold a license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, bringing at least 2 years of relevant experience to the role.

Work Environment

This role operates within a remote outpatient office setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a high standard of care. Our work schedule spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to adapt to patient needs. We also offer a sign-on bonus to celebrate your commitment to joining our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments, ensuring that each patientโ€™s unique background and experiences inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to facilitate individual patient growth, emotional regulation, and resilience.
  • Provide therapeutic support through individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns and promoting holistic well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to offer coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Offer immediate crisis intervention and support, ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate assistance during emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and local community resources available to support their journey.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health records (EHR) systems regularly.
  • Actively engage in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development workshops in cultural competence.
  • Continuously update knowledge regarding current research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders, along with experience in culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic practices.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience
