Summary:

The SharePoint Developer shall have the knowledge and expertise to provide support in SharePoint upgrades, transition and migration activities. Ability to custom development. Create custom experiences at various levels. Creation of intranets, portals, document management systems, contract management systems, learning management systems, and ticketing.

Job Duties:

  • Meeting with the design team to review website and application requirements.
  • Setting tasks and development goals.
  • Configuring the company SharePoint systems to specified requirements.
  • Developing new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#.
  • Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications.
  • Extending SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies.
  • Testing and debugging code.
  • Reviewing website interface and software stability.
  • Troubleshooting software issues.
  • Maintaining and updating SharePoint applications.
  • Providing systems training to staff and customers.
  •  

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years proven experience as a SharePoint Developer
  • MOSS or WSS certification.
  • PowerApps experience
  • Previous experience as a SharePoint Developer.
  • Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Frameworks.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.
  • High-level coding skills.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineer or related field
  • Effectiveness in the use of computer tools, e.g., spreadsheets and databases
  • Solid Visio and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a continuous process improvement culture
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing project review support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to understand and effectively communicate technical concepts in a compelling, persuasive manner to non-technical persons.
  • Excellent ability to interact skillfully and diplomatically with numerous counterparts and rapport, includingcontract stakeholders, government representatives and transportation officials.
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines and on several projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
