Job Summary

We are looking to add one key team member into our team. This is a key leadership position at our company and will be replacing the # two person on our team today. The position reports directly to the General Manger/owner of the company. The right candidate could one day run the entire business. The person needs to have at least 5 years of hands on sign making experience. This should include ability to teach and coach newer members of the team entering the sign business for the first time in their career. Hands on experience with printers, plotters and laminators. Familiarity with Routers, Paint booths, Engravers, etc. Knowledge of materials, industry suppliers and wholesalers. Proven track record in managing large and small projects as an accomplished project manager to manage other less experienced associates. Knowledge of ADA and multi-family housing concept design, preparing take-offs from blue prints and code compliant manufacturing and installation is a big plus. Ability to estimate jobs with confidence and speed to help close business for the team

Responsibilities

Sign design and production

Full-time availability (40 hours/week)

Answer phones

Consult/interface with customers

Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area

Assist in maintaining company signage equipment

Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs

Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional

5+ years of experience as a professional sign maker – design and production
