Job description


Job Title: Counterintelligence Analyst
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Advantage SCI is looking for Full-Time Counterintelligence Analysts to be considered for employment to support our government contract with the U.S. Army. Unclassified duties below:
• Provide Counterintelligence (CI) support to a DOD Special Compartmented Information (SCI)/ Special Access Program (SAP)
• Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills; will be required to research build, staff, and present information and decision briefs
• May be required to develop and perform intelligence and threat analysis
• Shall demonstrate current experience and knowledge with the use of IC analyst tools and applications.
• Provide scheduled and unscheduled counterintelligence and Due Diligence reviews of various operational functions and conduct coordination with various governmental IC agencies to facilitate mission preparation
• Must be able to learn and become intimately familiar with the organization and able to explain in detail relevant factors regarding unit mission, activities, and capabilities
• Assist in the analysis, coordination, and integration of intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications within critical geographical functional areas
• Present a full range of CI briefings and reports
• Prepare, formulate, coordinate, and staff a wide variety of operational and administrative correspondence
• Interface with the Intelligence Community as requested
• Update the Government's databases, intelligence files, and other required documents to successfully complete the mission
• Must stay abreast of military, political- military, technical, and other developments to conduct valid threat assessments
• Maintain office files, prepare administrative reports, and follow established policies and procedures
• Additionally, may support customer's Signature Reduction (SIGREDUX) efforts as needed to protect Critical Information as defined in unit Cl and Intelligence Oversight guides to include prepare, formulate, coordinate, and staff a wide variety of correspondence supporting SIGREDUX
• Provide advice and assistance to develop SIGREDUX and identity management concepts and procedures
• Perform other CI functions as designated
Experience and Skills
• Shall possess and maintain a current Top Secret/SCI clearance. No exceptions!
• Must possess four (4) years' experience in government related field as it relates to DoD 5105 series of pubs and instructions.
• Must possess at least two (2) years' experience liaison between government agencies and conducting Cl analysis and/or All-Source of programs and operations
• Must have Knowledge of and familiarization using various types of analyst tools and classified message databases. Examples includes: Analyst Notebook, Proton, Google Earth, Hot-R, Palantir, ArcGis, IC Reach, Voltron
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Working Conditions:
• Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
