Overview:ย 

Language Services Associates is looking for American Sign Language interpreters in the Detroit, MI area. As a member of LSA's network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!

Responsibilities:

ย Provide superior customer service

ย Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality

Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

ย Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clientsย 

Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner

Access to personal or public transport

ย 

Qualifications/Experience:

ย Associate or bachelor's degree

ย RID certification

ย State interpreting licensure (as applicable)

ย Fluency in English and American Sign Language
