Job description

GCON is seeking a Project Manager with experience in ground-up, commercial construction and mission critical/data centers, for our people-focused company where teamwork, trust, and care guide our operational achievement! What You'll Do
  • Lead all phases of construction projects (ground-up and renovations).
  • Drive preconstruction activities including estimating, logistics, scheduling, and pursuits.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance to maximize profitability.
  • Mentor project teams and trade partners in safety, quality control, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strengthen client relationships and support business development pursuits with senior leadership.
  • Ensure smooth project closeout and adherence to GCON standards.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by modeling best practices and sharing lessons learned.
  • Represent GCON in industry and community organizations, embodying stewardship and collaboration.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management (general contractor preferred).
  • 4+ years leading data center/mission-critical builds preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, and/or CMiC.
  • Proven leadership, financial acumen, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to travel and work on active construction sites.
