Job description

Position: Project Manager
Work Location: Miami, FL
Duration: 3+ months with higher chances of extension or conversion
Shift: (Mon - Fri) 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
 
Job Description
Will oversee 3–5 projects at a time, from project turnover through final closeout, ensuring each project is completed on schedule, within budget, safely, and according to quality standards.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Review project plans, specifications, contracts, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate project startup, permitting, subcontractor buyout, vendor purchasing, and documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, progress, and financial performance.
  • Process subcontractor invoices, owner billings, expenses, and change orders.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, daily reports, and project correspondence.
  • Conduct regular project site visits and coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
  • Oversee punch lists, warranties, manuals, and final project closeout documents.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely and profitably.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Direct experience managing high-end restaurant construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project administration.
  • Experience managing several projects at the same time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Procore.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Stable employment history with demonstrated longevity.
  • Must provide a list of completed projects along with the resume.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Equivalent construction management experience will be considered.
Additional Details
  • Candidates may work from the Deerfield Beach or Miami office.
  • Employees based in Miami must report to the Deerfield Beach office every Monday.
  • Mileage is reimbursed at the current IRS rate for business travel exceeding a 20-mile round trip.
  • No vehicle allowance is provided.
