Civil Land Development Project Manager

We’re seeking a skilled Civil Project Manager to join our Mesa office and lead the design and execution of high-impact land development projects throughout Arizona. As a key leader on our team, you'll drive a wide range of private-sector land development projects—from concept to construction. This role offers a hands-on blend of technical leadership, project management, and client engagement.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and delivery of commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use land development projects.

  • Oversee preparation of site plans, grading and drainage, utility layouts, roadways, and stormwater systems using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

  • Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations and secure the necessary project permits.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients—building trust and delivering clear communication at every project stage.

  • Mentor and support junior engineers and designers, promoting a culture of quality, learning, and teamwork.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in civil/site design (10+ preferred).

  • P.E. license required (degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering a plus).

  • Advanced skills in Civil 3D and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.

  • Strong leadership and client management capabilities.

  • Experience in private land development, including:master-planned communities, Multi-family and commercial developments, Industrial/retail sites, Private roadways and drainage infrastructure
