A leading specialty contractor specializing in the installation and maintenance of mechanical insulation, sheet metal lagging, architectural finishes, passive fire protection, energy audits, and the removal and abatement of asbestos, lead-containing materials, mold, and other hazardous materials is seeking an experienced Industrial Account & Project Manager to join their team in the Phoenix, AZ or Seattle, WA market supporting the fields of Mechanical Insulation, Fire Stopping, Acoustics/Noise Control, High-Performance Coatings, Abatement/Remediation, and Certified Energy Assessments.


This position is focused on sales, estimation, and project management and requires a highly motivated sales professional, problem solver, and detail-oriented person with the ability to communicate effectively, lead negotiation, and create trusting relationships with both internal and external clients. This role is instrumental in growing relationships through networking, referrals, and seeking out new technologies or opportunities to grow and support more customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective customers through proposals, sales presentations, and project management
  • Solicit bid packages including drawings, specifications, details about customer needs, subcontractor requirements/interest, and helps to develop bid strategies on a project-by-project basis
  • Book orders and collect receivables in sufficient volume to achieve assigned sales and margin budgets
  • Assure accurate tracking of customer data, follow-up on sales opportunities

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-10 years' experience and product knowledge in industrial or commercial insulation, coatings, mechanical contracting or similar field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Driver’s License, position involves frequent travel within territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of industry experience
  • Prior insulation experience is required
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, finance, business administration or a related field
  • Knowledge of on-screen takeoff and scheduling software
  • MIKE Estimating and/or Navisworks knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Use of a customer relationship management (CRM) system like SalesForce or similar
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills


Compensation

Base salary of $90,000 - $115,000 depending on experience, aggressive annual bonus structure, and excellent employee benefits package.
