We're looking for a customer-focused Project Designer who combines outstanding design skills with a consultative sales approach. If you enjoy listening to clients, developing creative solutions, and guiding projects from the first conversation through a signed contract, we'd love to meet you. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, has an eye for design, and is excited about helping customers create their dream Airstream.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and manage incoming sales leads and customer inquiries.
  • Meet with guests (virtually and in person) to understand their goals, vision, lifestyle, and remodeling needs.
  • Create customized design concepts, sketches, layouts, and project estimates.
  • Present remodeling solutions that provide value and solve customer challenges.
  • Build trust through a consultative sales process focused on education and exceptional service.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, contracts, and supporting documentation.
  • Present estimates, answer questions, overcome objections, and close sales.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently follow up on outstanding opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously throughout the year.
  • Coordinate with Production and Sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in customer drop-off and project delivery appointments.
  • Photograph projects during construction and after completion for customer communications and marketing.
  • Represent Ultimate Airstreams at regional Airstream rallies and industry events, including travel, event setup/teardown, greeting guests, and generating sales leads.
What You'll Bring

  • Strong understanding of cabinetry design, space planning, and cabinet construction.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Responsive, accountable, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable conducting both virtual and in-person customer meetings.
  • Experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, cabinetry sales, home remodeling, or design-build environments.
  • Proven success in consultative sales with strong closing and objection-handling skills.
  • Experience managing a CRM and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Familiarity with digital proposals, electronic contracts, and e-signature platforms.
  • Knowledge of residential construction methods, plumbing, electrical systems, cabinetry, and appliances.
  • Experience with SketchUp or other drafting/design software.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for regional Airstream rallies and customer events.
