  • Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (rotating Saturdays as needed)

Job Description

Eby Ford is looking to add a reliable and experienced Automotive Service Technician to our growing service team. You’ll perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on Ford vehicles with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment with real opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more

  • Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment as needed

  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor about any additional services required and provide time estimates

  • Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Keep up to date with Ford training and service bulletins

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of service technician experience preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ford certification required (or willingness to obtain)

  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

  • B-level technician skills including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair

  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and read technical manuals

  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities

  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and improve

  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Excellent customer service and basic computer skills

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
