G-Force Signs & Graphics is looking to add a Sign Production - Graphics Designer Specialist to our team.  You will work in a clean, modern, and technologically advanced sign shop with a skilled and dedicated staff who work as a team to accomplish goals. G-Force Signs & Graphics (www.gforcesigns.com) is a custom sign company that specializes in design, fabrication, and installation of commercial signs in Central Connecticut. We have a solid reputation in the region and pride ourselves on our quality signs and customer service.
This position requires experience in operating a large format printer, vinyl cutter/plotter and lamination machine.
Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Operating a large format digital printer, vinyl cutter/plotter and lamination machine.
  • Weeding and applying vinyl to different substrates and surfaces.
  • Working directly with both customers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area.
  • Assist in maintaining company signage equipment.
  • Assisting with sign installations.
  • Using sign industry software such as CoreBridge.
Job Requirements and Skills:
  • 1+ years sign industry experience is required.
  • Graphic Design experience is a plus (including vinyl printing, cutting & application)
  • Experience with sign industry software a plus, (e.g. CoreBridge)
  • Sign and vehicle wrap installation a plus
  • Drivers’ license and a dependable vehicle required.
  • Strong knowledge of sign-making materials; i.e. vinyl, substrates, etc.
  • Strong computer and file management skills including experience and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
  • You are a positive person and good communicator; you are a team player who works well with others; you have a hunger to learn; you can work independently and collaboratively; and you have an openness and curiosity to learn other facets of the sign industry.
  • You are someone who presents a professional appearance and has an energetic personality that reflects the values of our company, where exceeding customer expectations is the norm.
  • You have the ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency. This is an important skill that is required. Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management as well as with clients to understand their needs and provide guidance for best solution. Flexible to work overtime and weekends on occasion as needed.
