Title: Sign Maker
Classification: Non-Exempt

Position Summary
The Sign Maker assists with making and assembling signs and graphics. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, learning new skills, and producing quality work.
Essential Functions
  • Assist with making, assembling, and finishing signs.
  • Measure, cut, and prepare sign materials.
  • Apply vinyl lettering, graphics, and reflective materials to signs.
  • Assist with painting, sanding, and woodworking.
  • Operate sign-making equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Use basic computer programs and sign-making software.
  • Follow layouts, measurements, and work instructions.
  • Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality.
  • Move and organize materials, tools, and finished signs.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete daily production needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math and measuring skills.
  • Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following:
  • Construction or manufacturing
  • Woodworking

Physical Requirements
