Worth Higgins & Associates is seeking a Full-Time Production Floor Lead to join our growing Sign Production Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with custom signage, production processes, and team collaboration. Position Summary

The Production Floor Lead plays a critical role in ensuring production jobs move efficiently through the shop while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This individual will oversee workflow, assist with production tasks, coordinate job movement between departments, and help prepare finished products for delivery and installation.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare sign components for painting and finishing, including sanding boards, prepping materials, and ensuring surfaces meet quality standards.
  • Move jobs efficiently through production workstations to maintain workflow and production schedules.
  • Tap acrylic pieces for stud mounting applications.
  • Complete sign finishing tasks, including vinyl application, hardware installation, and final assembly.
  • Mount cleats and other hardware required for installation.
  • Organize, package, and prepare completed jobs for shipping or installation.
  • Monitor production quality and ensure all work meets company standards.
  • Support team members and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized production floor.
  • Assist in training and mentoring production staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and increase production efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in sign manufacturing, graphics production, woodworking, fabrication, or a related production environment.
  • Previous  team lead experience preferred.
  • Experience with laser engraving and cutting equipment is highly desirable.
  • Candidates without laser experience must demonstrate a strong willingness and aptitude to learn machine operation and production technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to read work orders and follow production specifications.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift materials and work in a physically active production environment.
