Job description

Signs andย More, Inc. is hiring a Sign Production & Installation Technician for our shop in White, Georgia.

We are a custom sign company that builds and installs signs for businesses, schools, churches, property managers, builders, and organizations across North Georgia and Metro Atlanta. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things right, and wants to be part of a stable sign company with steady work.

This position is a mix of shop production and field installation. You will help produce, assemble, finish, load, and install custom signs. The right person does not need to know everything on day one, but must be dependable, mechanically inclined, careful with details, and willing to learn our way of doing quality work.

Pay: $20โ€“$25ย per hour, based on sign industry experience and demonstrated skill

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Location: White, Georgia

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Produce, weed, mask, apply, assemble, and finish custom signs
  • Install signs at customer locations, including ground-level, ladder, and occasional lift-assisted work
  • Prepare substrates, panels, posts, graphics, hardware, and installation materials
  • Paint routed, flat, and fabricated signs
  • Assist with wide-format printing, laminating, cutting, and sign production equipment
  • Load, organize, and maintain tools, materials, vehicles, and work areas
  • Read work orders, measurements, layouts, and basic installation instructions
  • Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
  • Follow safety procedures in the shop and on job sites
  • Help keep the shop clean, organized, and productive

What Weโ€™re Looking for

  • Sign industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with vinyl, sign assembly, wide-format printing, laminating, cutting, painting, or installation is a plus
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic installation equipment
  • Mechanically inclined and able to solve practical problems
  • Good attention to detail and pride in finished work
  • Dependable, organized, and willing to help where needed
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude with customers and coworkers
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record preferred
  • Able to lift materials and work on your feet during the day
