About Us

Slingshot is on a mission to transform the college experience by making course materials and campus retail simpler, smarter, and more student-focused.

We support a growing portfolio of products—including auto-fulfilled course materials, general merchandise and apparel, campus store e-commerce, and print collateral—all tailored to help students and schools succeed. Whether we’re designing a custom apparel collection, an in-store display, or a national course materials campaign, our work sits at the intersection of function and storytelling.

Our team is strategic, agile, and highly collaborative. We’re growing and looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team and help bring stories, campaigns, and brand moments to life.

About the Role

As our Graphic Designer, you’ll be responsible for concepting and executing visuals across print and digital platforms—including signage, apparel mockups, email graphics, retail displays, social content, and more. You’ll collaborate daily with other designers, marketers, and creatives in a fast-paced, feedback-friendly environment.

This role is full-time, with preference for in-office presence in Marion, Indiana. A hybrid remote arrangement may be available for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do
  • Design visual assets for digital, print, retail, and apparel
  • Support ongoing projects with product photography edits, banners, and promotional graphics
  • Collaborate with the strategy, creative and execution teams to ensure timely delivery and brand alignment
  • Work within established brand systems while also contributing fresh ideas and new directions
  • Participate in creative reviews and contribute to evolving our visual identity
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience (in-house or agency preferred)
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a mix of layout, branding, and campaign work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required)
  • Experience with web design platforms like Duda and Shopify
  • Experience designing for both digital and print
  • Ability to take direction, contribute ideas, and iterate based on feedback
  • Very strong time management and communication skills
Why You’ll Love It Here
  • A collaborative, creative team that truly supports one another
  • A mission-driven company making real impact in education
  • Opportunity to contribute to national brand campaigns and on-campus retail storytelling
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
