Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) - Primary & Urgent Care | Up to $300K Potential
Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a full-time evening shift role in Crescent City, California.
This provider will deliver both primary care and urgent care services in a collaborative outpatient clinic focused on improving access to care for the local community.
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity.
Job Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive patient care during evening hours (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM), seeing a mix of scheduled primary care visits and walk-in urgent care patients. This role offers the opportunity to practice full-scope outpatient care in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care and urgent care services in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions
  • Perform minor procedures and urgent care evaluations
  • Deliver preventive care and patient education
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Qualifications
  • Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Active and unrestricted California NP license
  • Board Certification required (AANP or ANCC)
  • Experience in primary care, urgent care, or family practice preferred
  • Comfortable managing both acute and chronic patient conditions
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Position Overview
  • Schedule: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Clinic Days: Sunday - Friday
  • Clinical Hours: 33 - 40 hours per week
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 3 patients per hour
  • Combination of primary care and urgent care visits

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 depending on experience
  • Incentive bonus structure available
  • Providers working 40 clinical hours per week and seeing 3 patients per hour can earn up to $300,000 annually
