We at Siemens Digital Industry Software develop sophisticated software tools that span the full breadth of semiconductor and electrical systems solutions, including integrated circuit design and verification, PCB design and manufacturing solutions, cable harness tools, and embedded software.
As an Associate Application Engineer, you will be involved in a structured Associate Training Program. This is a fast-track paid training program that challenges you to develop the expertise needed to tackle difficult technical problems.
Associate Application Engineers are members of a team of highly motivated individuals working with customers crafting the most sophisticated hardware and software systems in the world and whose applications span the electronics industry. This training program will give you outstanding insight into our technical marketing, product support, and sales organizations. Upon successful completion of this 12-month training program, you will be eligible to advance into one of these organizations. Post program opportunities include Field Application Engineer, Corporate Applications Engineer, and Technical Marketing Engineer Positions.
Associate positions require excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Some travel may be required. Applicants must be willing and able to relocate anywhere within the USA upon completion of training. This role will begin in September 2026.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor or master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of the PCB design process from schematic capture to layout is required: Xpedition, PADS, Allegro, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle, and/or Altium.
  • Knowledge and experience with signal integrity or power integrity analysis tools is highly desirable: HyperLynx SI/PI, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Sigrity or SiSoft.
  • Knowledge of SPICE or IBIS modeling languages is highly desirable.
  • Some travel may be required.
