Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Siemens EnergyIP Meter Data Management (MDM) (Grid Scale X) SME to lead the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise Meter Data Management solutions for electric, gas, and water utilities. The role requires deep expertise in Siemens EnergyIP, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Meter-to-Cash processes, utility operations, and enterprise system integrations, along with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to utility clients on digital transformation and Smart Grid initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary SME for the Siemens EnergyIP MDM platform.

- Configure and optimize VEE (Validation, Estimation & Editing), billing determinants, interval data management, aggregations, settlements, and exception management.

- Lead EnergyIP upgrades, enhancements, and platform modernization initiatives.

- Support AMI deployments and smart metering programs.

- Define and improve Meter-to-Cash business processes.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders on metering, billing, revenue protection, and customer operations.

- Design and oversee integrations between EnergyIP and Oracle CC&B / SAP IS-U, AMI Head-End Systems, OMS, GIS, ADMS, SCADA, and enterprise data warehouses/cloud platforms, using REST APIs, MuleSoft, Oracle SOA, Kafka, and ETL tools.

- Lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Provide architecture governance, risk management, and technical leadership; mentor project teams.

Required Qualifications

- 12+ years in Energy & Utilities.

- 8+ years in Meter Data Management.

- 5+ years of hands-on Siemens EnergyIP MDM experience.

- Experience delivering large-scale AMI and Smart Grid programs.
