Job description

We are searching for a lively Shuttle Bus Driver to ensure the safe transport of our members and their guests to Lakeside Beach. To this end, the Shuttle Bus Driver will be required to follow the rules of the road, drive safely through the neighborhood loop and adhere to the vehicle's passenger limit.

To be successful as a Shuttle Bus Driver, you should demonstrate strict adherence to schedules and transport-related legislation. Ultimately, a Shuttle Bus Driver will be able to diagnose and remedy basic mechanical issues that may arise.

Shuttle Bus Driver Responsibilities:

Convey passengers to and from predetermined locations

Maintain decent conversation with customers and assist them with directions

Answer passengers’ questions in a polite and gentle manner

Maintain constant communication with the manager

Carry out regular check on the shuttle vehicle before and after each day’s run

Carry out repair of minor faults and report major problems, accidents, or damage to the vehicle to management or technician

Obey all traffic rules and regulations guiding the operation of shuttle services in his/her assigned area.

Dress in a neat and professional manner. This may be in accordance with the company’s dress code or in accordance with the stipulated dress code for drivers operating in that area.

Shuttle Bus Driver Requirements:

  • Previous experience driving groups of people (preferred but not necessary)
  • Outstanding knowledge of applicable transport and safety codes.
  • Great improvisational skills.
  • Amicable and optimistic disposition.
