Summit Express: Guest Service Shuttle Drivers & Local In-Town Drivers (CDL Not Required)
Location: Silverthorne or Avon, CO
Position: Guest Service Driver
Schedule: Seasonal Part-Time or Full-Time Available
Start Date: Various Training Dates starting in September, 2024
At Summit Express you'll be joining the #1 Best of Summit Shuttle Service team in Summit County for the past 6 years! We pride ourselves on providing the Best Work Environment & the Best Service to our guests!
Transport guests to and from the Denver Airport and the Mountain Ski Resorts of Summit & Eagle counties OR remain in Summit County as a transfer driver where you provide the final leg of transportation to their condo/hotel/etc.

Compensation Breakdown for Shuttle & In-Town Drivers:
  • Compensation Range: $25-$35/hour
    • (includes tips and bonuses)
  • Starting Trip Pay: $135/trip up to 9 hours
  • Overtime Pay: $21.50/hr over 9 hours for airport trip
  • In-Town Drivers: $21.50/hr + Overtime Pay at $32.25/hr
  • Additional bonus opportunities available:
    • Bonuses for positive guest reviews
    • Bonuses for working extra shifts a week beyond 4 shifts
  • Base Trip Pay is evaluated each winter season with annual pay raises. You own control of your own income potential. The more you work, the more you'll earn. Providing excellent guest service will translate to more tips, more positive reviews, and higher bonuses!

About the Guest Service Driver Position
Job Duties

  • Be on time with exceptional time management skills
  • Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections
  • Read and understand your daily trip manifests
  • Ability to map out pick-up routes
  • Maintain constant contact with dispatchers & communicate any issues
  • Report traffic issues you witness for other drivers
  • Thoroughly clean the inside and outside of your van at the end of your shift
  • Assist dispatch team with mountain transfers when required
  • Meet all Dress and Appearance Standards for Summit Express. Every time.
  • Ability to work early mornings or late nights, weekends, holidays, and potential rotating shifts
  • Guest Safety and confidence in your driving ability is your #1 concern

Requirements
  • Drivers must possess a valid driver's license and have no traffic violations on their Motor Vehicle Record within the last 3 years
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) Physical Exam - paid for by Summit Express

Colorado mountain transportation service to and from Denver International Airport to all Summit and Eagle county destinations (Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Frisco, Dillon/Silverthorne, Breckenridge and Keystone).
