The Spirit of the Position

As a Shuttle Driver, you are responsible for the safe, efficient, and friendly transportation of guests and passengers. Your focus is creating a positive experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

What You'll Do

Guest Experience

  • Greet passengers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
  • Assist guests with boarding, exiting, luggage, and special accommodations
  • Provide information about the local area, destinations, and transportation services
  • Create a positive experience by anticipating guest needs and offering exceptional service
  • Represent LAZ and our client partners with professionalism at all times

Safe Transportation

  • Safely transport passengers to and from designated destinations
  • Operate shuttle vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance concerns promptly
  • Maintain safe passenger loading and unloading procedures

Team & Operations

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and teammates
  • Maintain accurate incident, accident, and operational reports
  • Perform routine vehicle cleaning and fueling
  • Maintain required logs and documentation
  • Support overall transportation operations as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL
  • Passenger (P) Endorsement required
  • Air Brake Endorsement (as required by vehicle type)
  • Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience
  • Current and unexpired DOT Medical Certificate
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Minimum age of 20 years
  • Clean driving record meeting company standards
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred

  • Previous shuttle, transportation, motorcoach, bus, hospitality, airport, resort, or guest-service experience
  • Experience working in customer-facing environments
  • Experience operating vehicles in mountain or winter driving conditions

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including snow, rain, wind, and mountain temperatures
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Sit and drive for extended periods
  • Assist passengers with luggage and mobility accommodations
  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, and move frequently throughout a shift
  • Communicate effectively with passengers and team members
