Job description

Acme Manufacturing has an opportunity available for a Machine Operator! This position starts at $21.00 per hour + Bonus Incentives and is eligible for our full Benefits Package, including health, dental, life, and 401k. The Workweek for this position Full-Time, (40 hours per week) Monday -Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM. This position will work on-site at our facility near I-70 and Monaco. Mechanically inclined individuals willing to learn how to run machinery will be considered for this opportunity. This position is specific to a Wulftec pallet wrapping machine, specific experience with this machine is not necessary but it is a huge plus!
Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour.
Bonus Incentives: Eligible! Based on productivity. (typical pay for an employee meeting objectives averages $22.50 - $23.00 per hour)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Acme Manufacturing Company is a prime manufacturer of a variety of metal products. We are currently seeking an experienced machine operator or an individual looking to become a machine operator. This machine operator will operate a Wulftec pallet wrapping machine in a warehouse environment which elevates pallets of metal products onto a roller line and wraps them in plastic to prepare them for shipment. Other responsibilities include:
  • Adherence with our safety regulations.
  • Material handling, loading, and unloading of metal products.
  • Basic maintenance including adjusting, lubrication, and set-up.
  • Performing quality checks on finished/wrapped products.
  • Operation of a forklift (we will provide training but an existing skillset would be great!)

Who we are seeking in an applicant:
We are willing to train someone if they are willing to learn and have good mechanical aptitude. This position is ideal for a candidate with a good mechanical skill set who is seeking an opportunity in the manufacturing/warehouse industry. Other essential qualifications include:
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Proficient using gauges, tape measures, and other basic hand tools.
  • Familiarity with and willingness to adhere to warehouse and manufacturing safety standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and interact in a physically demanding position.
  • Willingness to spend most of the day on your feet.
