Job Description
Job Summary
Shriners Hospitals for Children is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional critical care to our young patients in the US. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to children with complex medical conditions within an intensive care setting, focusing on patient advocacy, family-centered care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provides continuous assessment of the patient's condition under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Surgical Services of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
  • Analyzes patient data to determine appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Implements a plan of care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Revises the plan of care and nursing interventions as necessary to meet patient needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with Kentucky Licensure.
  • Basic Life Support

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Previous experience in PACU or related areas such as ICU or Emergency Room
  • PALS certification
  • Previous experience in pediatrics and/or orthopedics desirable.
  • Ability to adjust to change and possess excellent communication-interpersonal skills.
The pay range for this position is $35.01 - $52.52. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
