Description:
Shredfast, Inc.โs Accounts Receivable Specialist will be based out of our facility in Airway Heights, WA. This position works under the supervision of company ownership and plays a key role in supporting the companyโs financial and operational processes.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for full-cycle accounts receivable functions, maintaining customer accounts, processing and collecting payments, and supporting transportation compliance requirements, including DOT reporting. This role requires a high level of organization, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Range: $23.00 โ $26.00/hr DOE
Status: Full-time
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday / 7:00am โ 3:30pm
Overtime: Available as needed
Requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities
ยท Perform full-cycle accounts receivable, including:
ยท Create and maintain customer accounts and truck files
ยท Maintain parts invoicing and verify pricing
ยท Receive and process daily payments, including deposits and wire transfers
ยท Run monthly customer statements and A/R aging reports
ยท Follow up on past-due accounts (30+ days) with professional communication
ยท Prepare invoices for new, refurbished, rental, and body swap trucks
ยท Maintain Iron Mountain monthly ledger and related reporting
ยท Work with A/P to verify shipment costs and reconcile transactions
ยท Support operations and transportation compliance, including:
ยท Maintain production schedule (input new builds and updates)
ยท Prepare work orders for shop production
ยท Track company tow truck for IFTA, IRP, permits, and DOT filings (IFTA, IRP, UCR, MCS-150)
ยท Serve as point of contact for Canadian & U.S. import documentation
ยท Maintain company records and assets, including:
ยท Equipment and inventory records
ยท Dealer plates and locations
ยท Spare key tracking for all trucks
ยท Warranty work documentation
ยท Truck and van body paperwork for customers and finance companies
ยท Collaborate across departments:
ยท Assist sales with customer inquiries and expiring orders
ยท Work with marketing on training materials
ยท Communicate with internal teams regarding orders, invoicing, and documentation
ยท Assist with month-end close processes and reporting
ยท Perform general administrative, filing, and recordkeeping tasks
ยท Other duties as assigned
Requirements
โข High school diploma required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred
โข 2+ years of accounting, receivable, or related experience preferred
โข Knowledge of DOT compliance regulations is a plus
โข Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
โข Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
โข Excellent communication and organizational skills
โข Self-motivated with ability to work independently and under supervision
โข Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
โข Dependable transportation required
