DESCRIPTION Shredder Maintenance Supervisor: Responsible for management of Shredder maintenance, coordinating repairs at the shredder, keeping track of and maintaining inventory, wear, and spare parts as needed for repairs, managing production inventory, SHECS, and Personnel HR.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance: Equipment inspections to be performed and results supported by actions to correct found deficiencies. Work with staff, manager, and upper management to prioritize repairs and maintenance activities based on needs of the Shredder and facility at large.
SHECS: Ensure morning start up meetings and tool box talks are completed. Ensure monthly training is completed and all related materials are uploaded to the SHECS website. Ensure all facility required inspections and reporting are completed on time and accurately. Follow up on all outstanding corrective actions and Investigations at the facility. Manage all EHS requirements to ensure compliance.
Shredder Operations: Support production staff and supervision in production operations. Assist with management of outside Contractors.
Projects: Assist with planning for and managing major repairs and projects at the Shredder.
Management of Mobile Equipment: The use and repair of equipment is to be communicated with other departments who have operational interest. The Supervisor is responsible for insuring inspection reports are being performed and any concerns addressed.
Reporting: Understand and prioritize communication of critical business information to regional management and subordinates as appropriate in a time sensitive manner to ensure the business is operating with the latest information.
HR: Manage relations with Union Workforce. Assist with administering and enforcing disciplinary actions as needed.
SUPERVISOR SHARED RESPONIBILITIES
Manage Shredder Workforce Oversee Safety meetings/Toolbox talks Inspections, CCVs, Corrective Actions and Incident Investigations. Facility maintenance (Shredder Appearance) Strong Safety Values - Decision Making - Organized and Self Motivated Strong Reporting and Communication to Management
