Mid-State Supply, one of Wisconsin's leading wholesale distributors, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Showroom Consultant in our De Pere office located at 1782 Mid-Valley Drive.
Mid-State Supply has been locally owned and operated since 1948. It is a family friendly work environment, where each person is an essential member of the team. Candidate must be a team player looking for a career rather than a job since this position has the potential of transitioning to full-time. The ideal candidate will be a good fit with our current team and interested in providing only the highest quality work.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist customer's in showroom in making product choices according to their individual needs and budgets
  • Provide excellent customer service by working with designers, plumbing/building contractors, and homeowners that are building or remodeling their homes by managing the order process from start to finish
    • This includes assisting showroom customers with reliable information regarding product specifications, product suitability, pricing, and availability, assessing their needs, guiding their product selections, and successfully closing the sale
  • Identifies and proactively responds to opportunities to promote the sale of additional products during the customer order process
  • Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns
  • Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean

Additional Requirements:
  • Extremely detail oriented, self-motivated team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet multiple/competing deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Knowledge of home construction/remodel processes and trades
  • Professionalism to include dependability, accountability, and punctuality
  • Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
  • Ability to develop and support a teamwork environment
  • Computer experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Other general office duties
