Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be familiar with the show, Allie Beth Stuckey, and corresponding social pages and audience to assess the best timing and topics to post.
  • Aid in getting clips from the daily podcast.
  • Collaborate on the show's social channels and provide clip packaging for YouTube.
  • Aid supervising producer in guest chasing.
  • Have some experience with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Premiere specifically) as well as basic editing skills.
  • Aid in providing simple graphics for the show edit each day.
  • Collaborate on compelling and attention-grabbing titles and descriptions.
  • Consult with show supervising producer on thumbnail design, titling, content selection, and SEO best practices.
  • Assist with basic video editing tasks (eg, converting a video to vertical so it can be posted as a Reel).
  • Keep up to date on news of the day, regularly pitching stories and topics (both in the theology and political sphere), and segments that will interest Relatable listeners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills:

  • This position is located in Dallas, TX
  • 1-2 year of related production experience on a podcast or news show preferred
  • Proven track record of strong editorial judgement
  • A strong interest and understanding of the current cultural, faith, political and news media landscapes
  • Impeccable judgment for identifying content that has potential to go viral
  • Strong writing skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and reliable
