Quality Assurance Technician — Temporary Medical Leave Coverage
7 am - 5:30 pm M - F
$25 per hour
Minimum of 4 weeks expected, may extend longer.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the production process.
  • Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify product dimensions and specifications.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality issues, defects, and non-conformities; assist with corrective actions.
  • Work closely with production personnel to address quality concerns and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, audit findings, and other quality documentation.
  • Assist with quality investigations, root cause analysis, employee training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience; technical or quality-related certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably HVAC.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
