Snelling is currently seeking an experienced Custodian to join the team at a local high school in the Grand Rapids area. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities.

Snelling is currently seeking an experienced Custodian to join the team at a local high school in the Grand Rapids area. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities.
Position Details
- Pay: $16.50 per hour
- Schedule: Part-time, Monday-Friday
- Shift: Flexible hours between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM
- Location: Grand Rapids area
- Immediate openings available
- Perform routine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and restroom maintenance
- Assist with basic building maintenance and facility upkeep
- Set up and clean up after school events and special activities
- Operate floor-care equipment or learn proper equipment procedures
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly school environment
- Work independently while maintaining high standards with minimal supervision
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience required
- High school diploma
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible and willing to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
- Respect for and appreciation of a diverse school community
- Experience with floor-care equipment is a plus
