Front Desk - Chatham Oral Surgery
Short-Term Contract: Front Office Assistant (2-4 Months, No Benefits or 401k)
Join our team of professionals at Chatham Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for a short-term contract role (2-4 months)as a Front Office Assistant. This temporary position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an established oral and maxillofacial surgery practice.
We are looking for a highly organized and customer-oriented professional to provide outstanding service to our patients. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience while managing administrative tasks. A pleasant personality, ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Process patient paperwork and verify information at check-in
  • Answer and direct phone calls efficiently
  • Schedule consultations and manage appointment calendars
  • Order office supplies and provide general administrative support
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office space
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Front Office Representative in a dental or medical setting (oral surgery experience preferred)
  • Adaptability in learning and navigating management software
  • Basic knowledge of dental insurance and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
