Job description

Sideworx Connect offers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.

We're seeking experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our roster for an upcoming project hauling Frac Sand in Grande Prairie, AB. Please ensure you meet all the below criteria before applying for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize proper PPE for loading and offloading product
  • Complete daily accurate pre-inspections and post-inspections regulatory logs and timesheets
  • Ensure information on Bill of Lading is correct
  • Ensure that electronic logs align with Federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience
  • Oilfield/off road driving experience
  • Super-b or tri-quad experience
  • Drivers abstract with no more than 6 demerits
  • Must know how to use tire chains
  • Polite and professional attitude
  • High regard for safety
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic

Certifications Required:

  • Must have a valid Class 1 driver's license and provide current drivers abstract
  • Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C
  • H2S Alive
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
